DFSS Suplement

Problems in the form of defects and waste are solved using DMAIC (Six Sigma) and Lean respectively. Most often than not these problems are surfaced because of the seeds of the problems were available during the creation stage. These happen because of either we don’t recognize the multiplicity of host of stakeholders or their requirements or poor focus on updated technologies or both. If these issues are taken up comprehensively in the design stage, then quantum and extent of defect and waste related problems can be minimised dramatically.

Objective of the program is to orient the process of development of the product or process or system or service in such way that defect and waste can be prevented from the very introduction or birth time. This is designed to augment existing Six Sigma Project Leaders (Black belts) with necessary skills for identifying and leading projects of DFSS category.
